I loved bringing this project to life as the motion designer, editor, and sound designer, an opportunity to showcase my visual storytelling style.

Inspired by the double exposure graphics in the True Detective intro, I aimed to capture the darker, more intense political undercurrents within Conclave and use a subtle interplay between light and dark to symbolise the tension between faith and ambition. I used these elements to introduce key characters, showcase the rich imagery from the film and fore-shadow themes in the story, tying it all together with smokey textures that echo the ritual of electing a new pope, as smoke rises from the Sistine Chapel.
